Contemplating the Dragonfly

“This red fox is a favorite subject of mine,” says Bonnie Marris. “I have painted him and his progeny on the creek behind my studio for many years. The fox’s physical brilliance is matched only by the brilliance of his mind. He remains alert and analytical of his surroundings at all times. At this moment he sits, captivated by a dragonfly. Perhaps this is a moment of mutual enchantment.” The original "Contemplating the Dragonfly" sold for $27,500 at the Coeur d’Alene art auction in Reno, Nevada. A limited edition canvas from The Greenwich Workshop is an affordable way to take home this award-winning and highly-sought after art.
