Liquid Nails brand heavy duty interior/exterior duty construction adhesive. This adhesive is what we prefer to put underneath our wrought iron post caps for wood post from madisonironandwood.com . You will need a caulk gun for this tube. Just place a thick bead of this adhesive around the top of your wood post and just press the cap on firmly and let it set up for about a day to dry. No need to continue to add pressure while it is drying. -Liquid nails brand Heavy Duty adhesive - 10 FL. OZ tube - should be enough for about 15 - 4x4 post caps or 8 - 6x6 post caps
