This handplane was made from reclaimed Douglas fir, cedar, and old growth redwood from a backyard trellis. The center stringer is cedar and has glitter in the resin to give it a sparkly look in the sunlight. It's glassed with 4oz fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. The hardware is all brass, and the hand strap is made from off-cuts from Hotline Wetsuit production, , and the wood is shaped with our unique, ergonomic hand fit. Bodysurf it in the morning.
