Confucius Eternal Sage

Confucius, a great thinker and educator, had and still has an immense influence on the psyche of the Chinese people and day-to-day administrative and organizational hierarchies. Although he was alternately deified and vilified over the millennia, he has persisted as a wise man guiding human life, an eternal sage. Confucianism has now moved beyond its East Asian home to become part of the emerging cosmopolitan ethos enabled and enhanced by globalization. This book, written by authoritative scholars, aims to provide a complete yet concise study of Confucius and Confucianism, illustrating the fascinating formation and transformation of a cultural tradition and articulating certain Confucian values and practices essential for modern societal development and personal growth.
