Confetti™ Panicle Hydrangea

Confetti™ is a panicle hydrangea that earns its name. In midsummer, this well-behaved, compact shrub opens a profusion of large, cone-shaped flower heads packed with creamy white florets that gradually blush soft pink as the season progresses — a natural color transition that keeps the display fresh and interesting from bloom through frost. The flowers are produced in remarkable abundance relative to the plant's size, giving it a full, generous appearance that works beautifully in smaller garden spaces where larger panicle hydrangeas would quickly overwhelm. Panicle hydrangeas are among the toughest and most adaptable of all hydrangeas, and Confetti™ is no exception. It blooms reliably on new wood each season, so late spring pruning presents no risk to the flower display, and it handles full sun, cold winters, and summer heat with equal composure. A genuinely low-maintenance shrub that delivers consistent, season-long color.   Highlights: Large cone-shaped flower heads transition from creamy white to soft pink through the season Compact habit suits smaller gardens and mixed borders Blooms reliably on new wood — no risk of losing flowers to pruning or late frost Excellent cut flower fresh or dried Tolerates full sun better than most hydrangea types Deer resistant Works well as a specimen, in mass plantings, or in containers   Growing Info: Hardiness: USDA Zones 3–8 Mature Size: 3–5 ft. tall, 3–5 ft. wide Sun: Full sun to part shade Soil: Moist, well-drained; adaptable to a range of soil types Water: Moderate; water regularly during establishment and hot spells Tip: Prune back by one third in early spring to encourage strong new growth and the best flower display
