Cone Head - Bite Me Buggers

Cone Head - Bite Me Buggers Meet the Cone Head Bite Me Buggers: tiny dinner invitations for trout that look suspiciously like a life-changing snack. These streamers are equal parts craftsmanship and mischief — made to get noticed, then eaten. Perfect for anglers who prefer their flies with a side of attitude. Whether you're stalking pocket water at dawn or cow-tipping small trout on a lazy afternoon, these streamers bring AXG Life energy — Life, Adventure-Ready and totally baited for fish that can’t resist a good silhouette. Key Features & Design Style: Cone Head streamers (classic profile, aggressive head weight for quick drop and enticing action). Materials: Tied primarily with Canadian Series Mohair for natural movement and lifelike flow in the water. Exceptions: The Goldie and the Original Vanilla Bugger are not tied with Canadian Mohair (they've got their own thing going). Colors available: Black, Canadian Blood, Canadian Brown, Olive, Pond Olive, plus the Original Vanilla Bugger. Performance & Benefits These streamers are designed to solve the eternal angler problem: how to get fish off the couch and onto your hook. The cone head helps them sink and hold a mouthwatering profile, while the mohair body gives a seductive, pulsating action with every twitch of your rod. Fast sink, natural movement: Cone head weight gets the fly into the strike zone quickly without flopping like a defeated noodle. Lifelike action: Canadian Series Mohair delivers soft, flowing fibers that mimic baitfish and aquatic life — irresistible to curious trout. Color selection: From subtle Olive and Pond Olive to stark Black and rich Canadian Blood, choose the hue that matches water, mood, or hubris. Versatile use: Great for streamers, swing nymph techniques, or any time you want your fly to look like it has a better résumé than you. In short: these aren’t decorative couch ornaments. They’re built for midnight runs down riffles, dawn blitzes, and the occasional questionable decision that ends with a trophy story. Ready to fish? Toss a few Cone Head Bite Me Buggers in your fly box, and upgrade your excuses into legit campfire victories — add them to your gear and make your next cast actually worth telling about.
