Introduction To Pistol Shooting Course Number:  PS001 Course Title: Intro To Pistol Shooting Course Date/Time: (see website) Age:  21+ Length: 1 hour classroom + 1 hour range     Course Description: New to Firearms ownership?  Want to be able to handle a firearm safely? Just owning a pistol is not enough. The Family Shooting Center has made gun education, safety, firearms familiarity, and skills improvement a part of its core offerings. You will learn from enthusiastic NRA certified instructors who understand that the basics, the corner stone of shooting, must be taught in a non-threating, comfortable, and fun environment. We understand what it means to start a new journey and we are here to help guide you to reach your goals.  We will help you start strong and gain confidence in your ability to handle a firearm safely. Discussion Topics: Safe gun handling rules Eye dominance The 5 Fundaments of shooting How to load and unload a firearm safely Instructor (s): John Gonsalves Matt Sebesta Materials Provided by Students: .22 Pistol if student does not own their own firearm Your pistol if you own one Eye and Ear Protection 50 rounds of ammunition purchased for class. Materials Provided by Instructor: Power Point Presentation Course Cancellation/Change Substitutions of attendee may be made at any time. Attendees must cancel at least 72 hours prior to the course date to receive a full refund less a $15 administrative fee. For cancellations received within 48 hours of the course date no cash refunds will be provided.  Instead, a one-time class rescheduling can be made.  A rescheduled course must occur within 12 months from original course date.  If a course has not been attended within the 12-month period all course fees are forfeited by the participant. Failure to attend the course or cancellations less than 48 hours notification will result in no refund or credit of the course fee or rescheduling. The Family Shooting Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule seminars/classes at any time.  IF we cancel or reschedule the seminar/class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund.  The Family Shooting Center is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation.  IF The Family Shooting Center cancels a seminar/class in which you are enrolled, you will be contacted at the email address you provided when registering, so please be sure to provide a valid email address and check your-email prior to attending class.
