Comprehensive Organic Acid Test

The Comprehensive organic acids test is my personal favorite test as it gives a plethora of information on what is going on in the body and is non-invasive on the individual. This is a simple urine test that looks at complex biomarkers from various metabolic pathways.  These biomarkers give an overview of several major systems in the body and an analysis of nutritional deficiencies in the body.  Many functional medicine practitioners believe the organic acids test to provide the most useful data for dollar spent of any metabolic test.  The organic acid biomarkers are metabolic intermediates that are produced in pathways of central energy production, neurotransmitter breakdown, detoxification and intestinal microbial activity.  When an specific organic acids are found accumulating they often signal a metabolic insufficiency.  These insufficiencies could be related to toxicity, a nutritional deficiency or an inherited enzyme deficit.  [hr]   CONDITIONS THAT COULD BENEFIT FROM THIS TEST [row] [column lg=”6″ md=”12″ sm=”12″ xs=”12″ ] Sleep abnormalities Mood changes Weight gain Multiple chemical sensitivity Bloating, Gas & Distention Autoimmune disorders Depression Cancer Headaches         Acne [/column] [column lg=”6″ md=”12″ sm=”12″ xs=”12″ ] Fatigue Blood sugar dysregulation Nausea Joint pain Acid Reflux Dermatitis Anxiety Inflammation Accelerated aging Eczema [/column] [/row] [hr] WHAT DOES THE ORGANIC ACID TEST MEASURE? [hr] WHY I LOVE THIS TEST As a clinician, this test gives so much information that is arguably the best value lab test.  If I could only run one laboratory based test on clients for the rest of my life it would be this one.  I love how I can look at methylation factors, neurotransmitter function, oxidative stress, gut health, etc. all off of one simple urine test.  If you are like me and hate getting blood drawn (I personally don’t get blood tests because I am freaked out about needles) than this is the easiest test for you.  We could do this one all day as it is just a simple urine collection.   This also saves you time and money as there is no need for a lab or a medical practitioner to draw blood.  You send it in the mail once you have completed the test appropriately.        [hr]   TOTAL COST:  $372.00 Fortunately, because of the many thousands of newsletter readers and social media followers, my team has been able to network with a great lab distributor and get the best possible pricing for everyone. The retail value (using market value and insurance based rates) is highly inflated and driving up the cost of health care.  This is the old, archaic method that many people are still using and paying way more for insurance and co-pays than they really should be. Many intelligent people are saving insurance premium dollars and turning to pay by order labs such as DirectLabs and others.  These skip the middle man (doctors’ visits) and cut down costs for the patient.   My team has been able to beat all of these other methods when it comes to providing the best educational descriptions behind the tests and superior savings.  By using DrJockers.com as your source you will save time and money and know exactly the right tests for you so you can get well quicker with less cost.  Additionally, when you order special labs from DrJockers.com you will receive a free email with a summary of your results and lifestyle and supplement recommendations from Dr Jockers himself or a well-qualified team member.   If the test requires blood work you can take your kit to any local lab and have the trained professional take your blood and fill out the kit and send it in the mail.  Urine and blood prick tests can all be done in the comfort of your home and sent into the lab with the mailing slip in your kit.  All instructions will be sent to you with the kit.  It is a very simple process that most anyone can figure out.  The lab also has a customer service phone # if any help is needed.
