Complex 2020 by Boadicea The Victorious

The word complex is defined as something composed of many interconnected parts, which is a perfect description of the original Complex by Boadicea the Victorious launched in 2008. This is a wise and impeccable leather perfume, richly infused with the verdancy of sage and mysterious violet. Sage is a potent note with a long folkloric history of cleansing and meditative rituals, in libations or burning.  Base notes of oud, musks and supple animalic leather provide a deeply sensual perfume that simply gets better and better as it develops on skin. The longevity, as with so many Boadicea perfumes is exceptional.  In Complex, the soapy rubbed verdancy of the sage in the opening of the scent is underpinned by the forest boudoir vibe of violet and sinks into a supple smoky leather that recalls the nostalgia of gentlemen’s smoking rooms, oak panelled walls, old books, leather wingback chairs and scuffed ottomans. Wood carrying the legacy of chattering smoke through time.  Complex 2020 is a magnificent supercharged concentrated version, of the original iconic Complex, giving perfume lovers an opportunity to wear a euphoric celebration of the original with an intensified herbal bouquet and a more profound leather heart. Incense-infused violet now fills the senses with an ecclesiastical vibe as earthy oud and musks enhance and lengthen the interconnecting beauty of a fascinating perfume. Available as a 10ml mini bottle in the stunning Bestsellers Gift Set along with Blue Sapphire, Valiant and Glorious.
