The Complete E. B. White Collection + Children's Biography

E.B. White gave us one of the most memorable children's books of all time in Charlotte's Web. It is one of the books I recommend should be on every child's bookshelf. Stuart Little and The Trumpet of the Swan complete White's children's books. Along with his biography written by Melissa Sweet, this collection makes for a wonderful author study of both White's work and his life, written for children.  Included in this set: Stuart Little Charlotte's Web The Trumpet of the Swan Some Writer! The Story of E. B. White Title: Charlotte's Web, Stuart Little, The Trumpet of the Swan, and Some Writer! The Story of E.B. White Format: clothbound hardcovers with dust jackets Authors: E. B. White and Melissa Sweet Illustrator: Garth Williams, Edward Frascino and Melissa Sweet Publication Years: 1945, 1952, and 1970 - all three classics are book club editions while Some Writer! The Story of E.B. White was published in 2016. Publishers: Harper & Row, Publishers (first 3 titles) and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Condition:  Some Writer! The Story of E.B. White is in like new condition.  I would consider this book new old stock. The remaining vintage books show wear to their dust jackets especially around the edges including minor tears. The covers have been well preserved by the dust jackets. Stuart Little has a line of marker on the inside cover - no doubt blocking out someone's address. No other writing noted in any of these editions. No torn or missing pages noted. Each book is tightly bound with no damage to the hinges.
