Murcielago Complete Brake Upgrade Kit - Front & Rear  Big 380mm Iron Rotors for 2005+ Murcielago This kit reduces brake rotor weight by up to 12.6lbs; increases initial bite and fade resistance; reduced brake dust; and increased pedal feel.  Kit includes the following for the complete car: Racing Brake lightweight 2-piece rotors; Hawk HPS brake pads; and Goodridge braided stainless steel lines with stainless steel fittings.  Girodisc 2 Piece Lightweight Brake Rotors: The rotor hat is US made 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made of proprietary cast iron, poured and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. No modifications necessary.  Hawk HPS 5.0 Brake Pads: Direct replacement pad for better initial bite, less brake fade when warm and low dust. HPS wear less on the rotor for longer rotor intervals. HPS pads do not allow the use of the pad wear sensors on 2002-2004 cars. Goodridge Brake Lines: Goodridge stainless braided brake lines are the standard in professional motorsports where the ultimate in braking is required. The kits feature the finest quality hose, consisting of a PTFE inner with a stainless steel outerbraid and stainless steel fittings. This eliminates the spongy feel of older brake lines, creates greater braking efficiency and superior resistance to abrasion and corrosion. Goodridge Lines are special order and have lead time of 15-30 business days.
