For a ground-mounted installation, module-level rapid shutdown devices may not be required depending on the applicable electrical code and local AHJ. For a roof-mounted installation, rapid shutdown devices may be required and should be added separately based on the installation design and local code requirements. Rapid shutdown devices are not included in the standard package. Mounting & Installation Solar panel mounting/racking is not included. For ground-mounted projects, the mounting structure should be selected according to soil conditions, foundation type, panel layout, wind load, snow load, and local engineering requirements. For rooftop projects, racking should be selected according to roof type, structural requirements, attachment method, and applicable codes. Final battery protection, AC protection, grounding, utility interconnection, backup-load configuration, permitting, and site-specific wiring should be confirmed by a qualified solar installer and local AHJ.
