St. Luke (Compassion)

St. Luke was a beloved physician and evangelist who gifted the Church with his Gospel and Acts of the Apostles, portraying the life of Christ and the early Church. As a Gentile convert and companion of St. Paul, he demonstrated God's universal saving grace. Luke's Gospel emphasizes God's mercy, the role of women, and the power of prayer, while his account of the Acts of the Apostles chronicles the spread of Christianity through the Holy Spirit. His writings have been a valuable source of faith and inspiration for Christians throughout generations.
