Compak E8 OD LLS (Black)

Reason For Return N/A This grinder was brought to us by Compak to demo their new units. We liked them so much we decided to buy them. Selling at discounted price, because it's been used 3x and we feel someone else besides us needs to get their hands on it and see how well it works! Overview At the heart of this grinder, you'll find a powerful motor paired with large 83mm flat steel burrs, a combination that guarantees uniform grinding and optimal flavor extraction every time you use it. What sets the E8 apart is its "On Demand" grinding feature. This means it grinds your coffee right when you need it, straight into the portafilter. This not only maximizes the freshness and aroma of your coffee but also ensures that each cup of espresso you make is as flavorful as possible. Plus, with its electronic dosing capability, you can fine-tune your coffee dose down to the tenth of a second, giving you incredible control and consistency in your espresso shots. Low-Level Sound The "LLS" in its name stands for Low-Level Sound technology, which is just a fancy way of saying this grinder operates quietly. It's designed to make as little noise as possible, so you can enjoy the process of making coffee without adding to the noise of a bustling kitchen or coffee shop. The E8 OD LLS is powered by a robust 610 W motor, operating at a speed of 1,300 rpm. This motor capacity ensures efficient grinding, capable of handling the demands of both busy coffee shops and discerning home baristas. The grinder's production capacity is remarkable, making it suitable for environments where coffee is a central focus. Grind Ajustment One of the standout features of the Compak E8 OD LLS is its innovative grinding adjustment system. The grinder offers continuous micrometric adjustment, allowing baristas to fine-tune the grind size with precision. This system is essential for dialing in the perfect espresso shot, as it enables users to adjust the grind to the specific needs of the coffee bean, the machine, or the brewing method being used. Operation The Compak E8 features an intuitive touchscreen interface that makes it straightforward to select and adjust settings. When it comes to grind size, the E8 offers stepless adjustment. This means you can dial in your grind with precision, making slight adjustments without being limited to pre-set notches or steps. Build Quality The grinder is also built to last, with a solid aluminum body that not only ensures stability during operation but also adds a touch of elegance to your coffee setup. In summary, the Compak E8 OD LLS Espresso Grinder is more than just a piece of equipment; it's a gateway to consistently delicious espresso shots.
