Programmable Modes Compak has designed three different operating modes for consistent dosing: manual, automatic, and two pre-programmed shot times. It comes with a powerful motor that allows you to work continuously in situations of high demand, maintaining all the properties of the coffee thanks to the cold grinding at low revolutions. On Demand Grinding This Compak coffee grinder features on-demand grinding activated by the portafilter coming in contact with the button at the base of the portaholder. With this function you can operate the machine just by inserting the portafilter and have the machine grind automatically. Stepless - Infinite Grind Size Adjustment Stepless grinders differ from stepped grinders in that they do not have preset grind settings; instead, they feature a collar that you can rotate to adjust the grind size. This collar is usually marked with incremental lines or notches, providing a way to monitor the grind size. Productive 68mm Burrs The conical burrs ensure accurate particle size for espresso and spectacular productivity. Special pre-wear treatment is applied to ensure optimal performance from the first day out the box. They are rated a durability of 1200 kg. Conical Burrs Conical burrs are designed in a cone shape, with one section rotating inside a stationary ring-shaped burr. Coffee beans are fed from above and crushed between these two parts, with gravity and angled edges guiding the coffee downward. The benefits of conical burr grinders include reduced heat production during grinding, maintaining the delicate flavors of the coffee beans. They are also cost-effective compared to flat burrs, operate quietly at lower speeds, and require less power due to their pre-breaker teeth. Conical burrs excel at producing rich flavor profiles and full-bodied cups of coffee. Electronic Fan to Keep Cool A cooling system is an essential component of coffee grinders, as it plays a vital role in maintaining performance and preserving coffee quality. Here's why it's important: Heat Reduction: Coffee grinding creates heat through the friction between the burrs and beans, which can negatively impact the flavor and aroma of the coffee. The dual fan system actively dissipates this heat to prevent the grounds from overheating during grinding. Consistent Extraction: Heat can affect the extraction process, causing premature release of volatile compounds from hot coffee grounds and leading to uneven extraction. The dual fan system maintains a consistent temperature to ensure balanced flavors in espresso shots. Shot Time Stability: In busy cafes, consistent shot times are crucial, but heat buildup can cause variations in grind particle size and extraction times. The dual fan cooling system minimizes these fluctuations, allowing baristas to maintain precise shot times even during peak hours. Who Should Buy the Compak E10 Conic?
