LLS - Lock & Load System With the Lock and Load System developed by Compak you can easily gain access to the grinding chamber and not worry about losing the setting of your grind adjustment. Dispense Modes Let's talk workflow. Compak offers two distinct functions known as Fresh and Predose modes. In the Fresh mode, you can customize the grinding duration to control the dose and save up to three preset time-based doses for immediate grinding. An advanced system identifies and grinds the correct dose based on the portafilter used. On the other hand, Predose mode involves grinding and storing coffee portions in a dosing chamber. When needed, a trap door releases the entire dose at once before preparing for the next batch automatically. Predose mode is designed for high-demand periods while ensuring optimal freshness of each grind. 3 Different Work Modes Easily activate the grinder to produce fresh grounds in 3 ways. You can push the portafilter in, activating the on-demand button. You can also get fresh grounds by touch on the touchscreen. The Bolt 83 also comes with the detection feature, which will dispense the "dose 2". 83mm Burrs This flat burr grinder is equipped for wear and tear with a durability of 1,200 Kg, it features burrs made of high-durability tempered steel (100Cr6). The 83mm burrs rotate at a slower pace, minimizing heat production and safeguarding the vital oils in the beans. This ensures that your espresso shot is rich in flavor and aroma. With their durable build and extended performance, larger burrs like the 83mm ones have a longer lifespan compared to smaller ones, ensuring a flavorful and predictable coffee experience. Adjustable Fork Positioning Easily adjust the coffee chute outlet and the height of the forks for correct distribution of the coffee grounds into your portafilter. On Demand Grinder This espresso grinder features on-demand grinding activated by the portafilter coming in contact with the button at the base of the portaholder. With this function, you can operate the machine just by inserting the portafilter and have the machine grind automatically. Direct Access With the Lock & Load System regulation, you can easily clean or change burrs without losing the adjustment. This system allows you direct access to the grinding chamber. High Tech Touchscreen The touch screen on this Compak grinder features a large 2.8" screen and comes in multiple languages and is built with a burr change alarm, a screensaver, and total and partial dose counters. You can even protect access with a password. Who is the Bolt 83 Grinder Made For? The Compak Bolt 83 commercial espresso machine is perfect for the medium to high volume shops that have demanding rushes or sustained workflows throughout the day. Alerts for Burr Change No worries about keeping up on the burrs, this espresso machine features a "replacement alarm" to alert you when the burrs are near the end of their use. Electronic Fan to Keep Cool A cooling system is an essential component of coffee grinders, as it plays a vital role in maintaining performance and preserving coffee quality. Here's why it's important: Heat Reduction: Coffee grinding creates heat through the friction between the burrs and beans, which can negatively impact the flavor and aroma of the coffee. The dual fan system actively dissipates this heat to prevent the grounds from overheating during grinding. Consistent Extraction: Heat can affect the extraction process, causing premature release of volatile compounds from hot coffee grounds and leading to uneven extraction. The dual fan system maintains a consistent temperature to ensure balanced flavors in espresso shots. Shot Time Stability: In busy cafes, consistent shot times are crucial, but heat buildup can cause variations in grind particle size and extraction times. The dual fan cooling system minimizes these fluctuations, allowing baristas to maintain precise shot times even during peak hours.
