HexaLite™ "Mini" - Compact Ferro Rod Fire Starter - 6-Sided Shape & Ceramic Striker

Our new HexaLite™ "Mini" Ferro Rod fire starter is the same whopping 1/2-inch diameter 6-sided hex shape as it's bigger brother, but in a more compact 4" length.  To keep the weight down, it also features our new ceramic striker tool. The super hard ceramic material is not only lighter, but its edges won't dull like traditional steel strikers so you always have nice clean, sharp edges for striking the rod. Like all of our ferro firestarter's, this uses our special "PyroStryke" ferrocerium blend that will reliably produce showers of molten hot (up to 5500 degrees) shards on your tinder to ensure you'll get a fire started super fast, even in the worst weather conditions. The 6-sided hex shape of our HexaLite rods also gives you over 50% more striking area than a standard round fire rod.  This survival tool is a must-have for hiking, backpacking, hunting, or camping and its compact size is ideal for your bug-out gear bag. Makes a perfect gift for the hiker, backpacker, or camper in your life. EXTRA LARGE 1/2" diameter 6-sided hex shape provides double the striking surface of normal round rods. CERAMIC striker tool is lighter and won't dull or rust like traditional steel strikers can. VERY EASY TO USE - Scrape the black coating off the striker rod, and firmly & quickly push the sharp edge of the striker tool on the Ferro rod surface to create a shower of sparks WATERPROOF - A reliable source of fire in even under the worst weather including rain, snow and humid conditions REUSABLE - Can be used countless times without any need to recharge or refill We stand by all of our products with our no-hassle promise; if you're not satisfied for any reason we'll make it right.  Technical Specs: Weight: 2.6 oz.
