Combine Outdoor Rectangular Planter with Base

Combine Outdoor Rectangular Planter with Base The Combine Outdoor Rectangular Planter with Base brings a clean architectural element to outdoor spaces. Designed with a balanced mix of natural teak and powder-coated aluminum, the planter offers a modern profile that complements both residential patios and commercial hospitality environments. Its slim rectangular form works well along walls, terraces, or outdoor seating areas, making it ideal for herbs, ornamental plants, or small trees while adding a structured greenery feature to outdoor layouts. The planter frame combines SVLK-certified teak with a durable powder-coated aluminum structure. Teak is naturally rich in oils, making it highly resistant to moisture, insects, and outdoor conditions. The wood is responsibly sourced and certified under the SVLK (Indonesia’s Timber Legality Assurance System), supporting responsible forest management. Delivered untreated, teak will gradually develop a soft silver-grey patina when exposed to the elements. Natural variations in tone, as well as minor surface checks or movement, are part of the character of solid teak and do not affect performance. The planter base and frame are constructed from powder-coated aluminum, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant material well suited for outdoor applications. The powder coating provides a protective layer that helps resist scratches, impacts, and daily wear, making the planter suitable for both residential and commercial environments. Together, these materials create a planter that balances warm natural texture with clean, contemporary lines, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of outdoor furniture settings. The Combine Rectangular Planter is designed for flexible outdoor placement, including patios, balconies, garden pathways, and rooftop terraces. Its narrow depth allows it to function well as a space-defining element, along walls or behind lounge seating. Materials Teak Combine Outdoor Rectangular Planter teak is certified under SVLK (Indonesia’s timber legality assurance system), ensuring responsible forest management. Naturally high in oil, teak is ideal for outdoor use and is delivered untreated. Over time, untreated teak develops a beautiful pale grey patina. To maintain its original golden tone, we recommend applying a teak sealant. As a natural material, teak may develop small cracks or slight warping as it adjusts to its environment. Aluminum Boxhill offers a wide range of powder-coated aluminum furniture, finished with a durable, color-tinted protective layer. Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, it is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. Care + Maintenance Teak To maintain the golden color, treat with teak sealant before use and regularly thereafter (typically a few times per year, depending on climate and placement). If the surface turns grey or dark, clean with a teak cleaner, rinse thoroughly, let dry completely, then reapply sealant. Light sanding may be needed if patina has developed. For routine care, clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Storing - Store furniture in a covered area during autumn and winter for best protection. If using a furniture cover outdoors, ensure proper air circulation to prevent condensation, mold, and mildew. Aluminum Aluminum furniture requires minimal maintenance. In coastal areas, clean more frequently with fresh water and mild soap. Avoid impact or rough handling to prevent dents that may damage the powder coating. Prolonged moisture under vases or décor can leave marks, so keep surfaces clean and dry. Storing - Furniture can remain outdoors year-round, but using a cover during winter or extended non-use is recommended. Ensure proper air circulation under covers to prevent condensation, mold, and mildew. Indoor storage during winter offers the best protection.
