All-Day Comfort. Zero Excuses. The Cookie Jar gloves are engineered around one core idea: your hands should never be the limiting factor at the plate. Every material and construction choice is designed to give you maximum feel and maximum hold through every swing. Military-Grade Cabretta Leather Palm The .9mm cabretta sheepskin leather palm sits at the heart of the Cookie Jar's performance. It's thin enough to deliver exceptional barrel feel, but durable enough to handle the daily grind of cage sessions and game-day pressure. The result is a glove that feels like a second skin without sacrificing structural integrity. 50mm Full-Wrap Long Strap Lock-In The wider 50mm long strap wraps fully around the wrist, distributing pressure evenly for a more secure, balanced fit than standard short-strap designs. It holds firm through your entire swing path — eliminating slip, reducing hand fatigue, and keeping your grip exactly where it needs to be from first pitch to last out. Reinforced Palm with Double Stitching The double-stitched reinforced palm handles high-rep stress without breaking down at the seams. Whether you're grinding through five rounds of BP or going deep in a tournament bracket, the Cookie Jar's palm construction stays intact and maintains its form. Heavy-Duty Neoprene Cuff The neoprene wrist cuff adds a layer of structure and support without stiffening the glove. It flexes naturally with your hand through the full range of motion — keeping your wrist supported at contact while allowing the free movement you need for a fluid, powerful swing. The Cookie Jar gloves use military-grade .9mm cabretta sheepskin leather for the palm. Cabretta is prized in premium batting gloves for its smooth texture, natural grip feel, and durability — providing a responsive connection between your hands and the bat handle swing after swing. What makes a 50mm long strap better than a standard short strap? A 50mm full-wrap long strap covers more surface area around the wrist, creating a more even, balanced hold. This reduces the chance of the glove shifting mid-swing and provides better support across the entire wrist. Players who prefer a locked-in, stable feel during their swing typically find long-strap gloves more comfortable under game conditions. Do these gloves need a break-in period? The flexible construction and premium cabretta leather conform quickly to the shape of your hand, making the Cookie Jar gloves effectively game-ready out of the box. A few rounds of BP is all most players need to feel fully dialed in. Are Combat MFG Cookie Jar gloves approved for high school and college baseball? Batting gloves are generally classified as personal equipment and don't face the same approval requirements as bats or helmets. That said, some leagues or teams may have uniform or color requirements — always verify with your coaching staff or league administrator before your first at-bat. How do I find the right size in batting gloves? Measure around the widest part of your palm (excluding the thumb) with a soft tape measure. Common size conversions: Small = 7″ or under, Medium = 7–7.5″, Large = 7.5–8″, XL = 8″+. If you're between sizes, sizing up slightly is typically preferred as batting gloves tend to break in and conform over time. How should I care for my Combat MFG batting gloves? After use, wipe the cabretta leather palm with a clean, slightly damp cloth to remove sweat and dirt. Allow them to air dry naturally — keep them away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which can dry out and crack the leather. Never machine wash. Store flat or hanging to preserve the strap's shape. What warranty do the Cookie Jar batting gloves carry? The Combat MFG Cookie Jar Long Strap Batting Gloves include a 30-day warranty. If you have an issue with your gloves within the warranty window, reach out to our team through the Smash It Sports contact page and we'll make it right.
