Colorized

Colorized is Metric Coffee's love letter to Ethiopia's most expressive terroir—a kaleidoscopic blend of two distinct Ethiopian lots that deliver candy-bright sweetness and tropical exuberance in every cup. Roasted light to preserve the coffees' natural vibrancy, this is a blend for those who chase brightness, complexity, and the kind of flavor that makes you pause mid-sip and smile. Tasting NotesExpect a riot of tropical fruit: think ripe mango, passionfruit, and strawberry candy, all wrapped in a honeyed sweetness that coats the palate without cloying. The body is silky and effervescent, almost sparkling on the tongue, with a bright malic acidity reminiscent of green apple or champagne grapes. The finish lingers with floral jasmine notes and a clean, fruit-forward sweetness that invites another sip. This is coffee that demands attention—playful, radiant, and unapologetically bold. Brew MethodsColorized shines brightest in methods that highlight clarity and brightness. Pour over (V60, Kalita Wave) is ideal, revealing layered fruit notes and effervescent acidity with every brew. Aeropress with a shorter immersion time captures its candy sweetness while maintaining vibrancy. Espresso drinkers with a taste for adventure will find a fruit-bomb shot that's acidic, sweet, and electric—though this coffee truly belongs in filter brewing, where its full spectrum of flavors can dance. French press works if you prefer a fuller body, though you'll trade some brightness for richness.
