ColorGray 44 Patch Color Test Target

The ColorGray-44 chart (new, September 2025) is produced on a single layer of transmissive color film. It can also be produce as a reflective chart, contact sales@imatest.com if you are interested in the reflective version. 6 saturated RGBCMY colors, 18 colors similar to the 24-patch Colorchecker, 20 grayscale patches, Reflective:  Dmax-Dmin = 1.90 in density steps of 0.10.  Transmissive:  Dmax-Dmin = 3.0 in density steps of 0.15 for D ≤ 2.4 and 0.20 for D > 2.4. Logarithmic wedges and slanted edges for SFR and vanishing resolution analysis. The transmissive version is supplied with a reference file for accurate color and grayscale analysis.  Because this chart was optimized for self-illuminated endoscopes, which can have specular reflections (“hot spots”) near the center of the image, it has no critical features at the center of the chart. It can be pre-distorted to work better with highly barrel-distorted cameras. It can be cropped, as long as the four registration marks are inside the image frame.
