Handle has a standard 3" boring to fit many drawers.   It is solid brass with a living finish. The brass will naturally age over time producing a lovely patina.  Colonial drawer handles are realistically reproduced to match historic designs. Classic bold shape, crisp detail and Chippendale influence make these furniture pulls ideal replacements on antiques.  Measure Colonial Chippendale Pulls Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole. If replacing handles:  replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer. Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point. Attaching Chippendale Pulls Posts, bail and backplate are separate, assemble when mounting.  Insert one post into backplate and position on drawer front. Pulls are secured using 8-32 machine screws. Length supplied is determined by manufacturer. While supplied screw length is generally useful, occasionally a different size is required. Please let us know if you need a specific length. To determine the correct size: measure wood thickness and add 1/4".
