Colombia Community

Colombia Community from Kaldi's Coffee is a love letter to Colombian coffee in its finest form—a rotating selection of washed coffees from partner communities that celebrates the country's remarkable diversity and quality. Each harvest is chosen for its balance, sweetness, and the kind of crisp fruity acidity that makes Colombian coffee a global benchmark. This isn't a static offering; it's a year-round tour of Colombia's coffee-growing regions, with each bag containing a QR code that connects you directly to the story of that specific lot. Expect familiar staples like the Monserrate community alongside new discoveries as the seasons shift. What remains constant is the quality: clean, approachable coffees that showcase why Colombia has earned its reputation as one of the world's most important coffee origins. Tasting NotesColombia Community delivers apple and orange brightness up front, with a chocolate undercurrent that adds depth and sweetness to the cup. The body is medium and silky, the acidity crisp but never sharp—think fresh fruit rather than citrus bite. The finish is clean and lingering, with a subtle cocoa sweetness that invites another sip. This is Colombian coffee at its most quintessential: balanced, approachable, and endlessly drinkable. Brew MethodsThis coffee shines across methods. As pour over (V60, Chemex), it highlights that apple-orange brightness and clean finish. In a French press, the body rounds out and the chocolate notes become more pronounced. It's also excellent as espresso, pulling sweet and balanced shots with berry-forward acidity and a creamy mouthfeel. Whether you're dialing it in on a single-dose grinder for filter or pulling it through a prosumer machine, Colombia Community rewards attention to detail. About the RoasterKaldi's Coffee has built some of its longest-standing relationships in Colombia, treating these partnerships as foundational to their sourcing philosophy. Colombia Community is both a celebration of that commitment and a practical way to experience the breadth of Colombian coffee excellence throughout the year. The team at Clive can recommend grinder settings and brewing equipment to help you get the most from this versatile, traceable coffee—whether you're new to single origins or a seasoned home barista.
