Collar Sectional 5 - Nevotex Barnum 24

The Woud Collar Sectional 5 takes Meike Harde's ingenious "soft hug" concept and scales it up into this sprawling modular configuration that basically becomes the gravitational center of any living space. The askew-arranged back cushions create this relaxed, lived-in look that's way more appealing than those rigid, hotel-lobby sofas that make you sit up straight. What's clever about the design is how those delta-shaped side supports work with the continuous back cushion to create this "collar" effect - when you sink into the memory foam, it really does feel like being gently embraced rather than just sitting on furniture. The 281.5cm depth gives you serious real estate for stretching out, and the modular system means you can reconfigure things when you move or your needs change. The construction shows Harde's textile expertise - the plywood frame with metal connectors and elastic belt suspension creates this perfect balance between structure and give that makes long Netflix sessions actually comfortable. The black metal legs keep it from looking too soft or residential, adding this subtle industrial edge that works in both casual and more formal spaces. The FSC certification means you're not just getting comfort but responsible materials, and the wide range of available fabrics lets you dial in exactly the right look for your space. At a 40cm seat height, it hits that sweet spot where you can sink in without feeling like you need help getting back up. Woud continues this approach where German and Danish design sensibilities merge to create something that feels distinctly Nordic but with a more relaxed, lived-in quality than traditional Scandinavian minimalism. Their collaboration with Meike Harde reflects their willingness to push beyond the typical clean-lines-and-nothing-else approach, embracing comfort and tactile pleasure as valid design goals. The brand understands that the best furniture adapts to how people actually relax and socialize rather than forcing them into prescribed postures, and the Collar system exemplifies this philosophy perfectly - it's designed for real human bodies and real human habits rather than just looking impressive in photographs.   Details Made In: Lithuania Materials: Plywood (FSC™), metal, foam, elastic belts Dimensions: Length: 287 cm Depth: 281,5 cm Height: 74 cm Seat height: 40 cm Seat depth: 66 cm Additional Information: Legs: Black painted metal Connectors: Metal sectional snaps The sectional includes: 1 x 3-seater, 1 x open end right (arm left) Cushions: Two cushions included in the same fabric as the sofa
