Collar and End Plug

The Collar and End Plug are a simple and convenient way to turn a Trail Boss handle segment into an end-handle, without using a Grip Handle. Carry the collar and end plug for when you want to use one of your handle segments for a saw handle while keeping the grip handle for use with other tools. It can also provide flexible options for mixing several handles between groups of trail building colleagues at the work site. -- The collar threads onto the handle segment threaded end with the rounded plug inside. Together they protect the threaded end of the handle segment and provide a knurled grip with rounded plastic knob on the end for hand comfort.
