Collar 2.5-Seater Sofa

The Woud Collar 2.5-seater hits that sweet spot between a loveseat and full sofa where you get serious lounging space without dominating smaller rooms. Designer Meike Harde took the classic sofa concept and twisted it into something that feels both familiar and completely fresh - those askew back cushions and delta-shaped armrests create this welcoming embrace that actually makes you want to sink in and stay. The continuous back cushion really does function like a collar, wrapping around you in this soft, enveloping way that's way more comfortable than it has any right to be. What's clever about the proportions is how the low backrest keeps sight lines open while still providing genuine support for hours of lounging. At 97 inches long, this thing accommodates real relaxation - you can properly stretch out or fit three people comfortably for movie nights. The memory foam cushioning has this perfect balance where it's soft enough to feel luxurious but supportive enough that you're not constantly shifting around trying to get comfortable. The black painted metal legs give it this sleek, elevated look while the plywood and elastic belt construction means it's built to handle daily use rather than just looking good. Available in premium fabrics like Kvadrat's Harald collection, each piece develops its own character while maintaining that sophisticated Scandinavian aesthetic that works with changing decor over the years. Woud emerged from Mia and Torben Koed's decision to challenge themselves after decades in furniture manufacturing, and their collaboration with Cologne-based Meike Harde reflects this commitment to pushing Nordic design beyond traditional boundaries. The brand understands that the best sofas become the natural gathering spot where people actually want to spend time, not just pieces that photograph well but feel uncomfortable after twenty minutes. Their focus on honest materials and functional beauty means creating furniture that enhances how families and friends naturally connect, ensuring their pieces become integral parts of daily life rather than just expensive seating that requires special care or formal behavior.   Details Made In: Estonia Materials: Plywood, Foam, Webbing Connector: Metal Sectional Snaps Legs: Black Painted Wood Fabric: Gabriel Step Melange: 100% Trevira CS Kvadrat Remix 3: 90% New Wool (worsted) 10% Nylon Kvadrat Steelcut Trio 3: 90% New Wool (worsted), 10% Nylon Kvadrat Harald 3: 100% Cotton Dimensions: 97"L x 43.3"D x 29.1"H Seat Height: 15.7"
