Mix my Collagen Cocoa with coconut or almond milk and enjoy it as a warm meal replacement, or mix it with your favorite greens, fruit, and ice for a satisfying shake. How Does Collagen Work? Our bodies produce collagen naturally, but as we age, that production begins to decline. Outside factors, like exposure to UV rays from the sun, can affect the speed of this downturn. As this happens, you may start to notice the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and other signs of visible aging. Collagen is a fibrous structure that holds and connects and structures together. It acts as the scaffolding for your skin, ligaments, cartilage, connective tissues, and muscles. This protein can also keep your skin looking youthfu, as well as support bone, joint, hair, and gut health. Too Good To Be True: How Can Hot Cocoa Support Your Health? Dr. Kellyann’s Collagen Cocoa is not your store-bought hot chocolate. This chocolatey, dairy-free hot chocolate is made with simple ingredients. Each packet contains 17 grams of grass-fed hydrolyzed collagen, which is easily digestible to support maximum nutrient absorption. It can satisfy your sweet tooth with its depth of chocolate flavor while being deliciously sugar-free. This collagen hot cocoa is a decadent low-calorie, low-carb, and low-fat snack. Dr. Kellyann has done the hard work for you so you can enjoy the health benefits of bone broth collagen without prep time. Dr. Kellyann only uses natural sweeteners, like monk fruit, which is 100 to 250 times sweeter than table sugar. Dr. Kellyann’s Collagen Cocoa is also soy and gluten free. Dr. Kellyann’s Collagen Cocoa is packed with essential nutrients like protein, calcium, potassium, and amino acids. The 15 grams of protein in each serving size of hot cocoa can help you feel fuller for longer, supporting your weight loss goals.  The hydrolyzed collagen breaks down into amino acids in the gut. Amino acids are “the building blocks” of protein, and your body can use them to make proteins like collagen, which can support skin elasticity and minimize visible signs of aging. Here are a few other ways that amino acids can support your health: Promote a balanced mood Support a healthy metabolism Support restful sleep Help in the breakdown of fats Promote gut health Is This Hot Cocoa Keto and Paleo-Friendly? This hot chocolate mix can be consumed by people following the bone broth, keto, or paleo diets because it is low in sugar and carbohydrates. The rich chocolate flavor comes from unsweetened cocoa powder, and you can avoid high-carb or nutritionally empty sweeteners like maple syrup and stevia thanks to our monk fruit extract. To make easy homemade hot chocolate, simply simmer eight ounces of your non-dairy milk of choice into a small saucepan, warm it on the stovetop until you reach medium heat, and stir frequently. For more healthy hot chocolate recipes, try using a dairy-free milk such as unsweetened almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, or full-fat coconut milk, adding in coconut, peppermint extract or vanilla extract for additional flavors. If you really want to get creative, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper, sea salt, and a spoonful of peanut butter or almond butter for a sweet and salty afternoon treat. Or, add some dairy-free whipped cream, vegan marshmallows, and sugar-free dark chocolate chips.  This nutrient-dense collagen hot cocoa mix is so versatile, you can even add it into a smoothie for a truly delicious breakfast drink recipe.    California Prop 65 Warning  WARNING: Consuming the bone broth in this product can expose you to chemicals including lead which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
