Handcraft and artistic inspiration characterise the ARTIST collection. We have used various techniques of art history to bring them to your walls. The technique of collaging is popular, as it brings together found motifs and materials and provides a completely new image that spreads its very own mood. At the beginning of the 20th Century, artists such as Pablo Picasso or Georges Braque glued newspaper clippings, photos, torn papers and wallpaper patterns to their partly still figurative or cubist paintings (hence the term). The collage became its own style when it freed itself from the pictorial aspect and from then on only stood on its own.
