Cold Press Cutting

Cold Press Cutting is a Construction Method service used for scalable, cost-efficient OEM paddle programs—especially market-entry and volume SKUs. It uses layered assembly with controlled adhesive bonding and CNC cutting, allowing brands to combine different cores and face materials to create multiple feel profiles and price points. How a cold-pressed build is made (overview) Face + core are bonded using controlled adhesive processes CNC cutting maintains consistent outlines and tolerances Traditional edge guard integration provides perimeter protection and familiar aesthetics (project-dependent) Paddle Configuration System (Process-Level Profile) Construction Method: Cold Press Cutting (layered assembly + bonding + CNC cutting) Core Structure Compatibility: PP honeycomb, foam-based, and hybrid cores (project-dependent) Surface Material Compatibility: fiberglass and carbon fiber faces (project-dependent) Performance Variables (Typical Tuning): feel driven by core + face selection, cost efficiency, iteration speed, repeatable batch consistency Thickness Options (Common Builds): 10mm / 13mm / 14mm / 16mm / 18mm When to choose cold press cutting You need fast iterations and flexible core/face combinations You’re building a tiered lineup (entry, mid, upgrade SKUs) You want a proven, scalable method for club and recreational markets Cold Press vs Thermoformed One-Piece (simple positioning) Thermoformed One-Piece is typically selected for unibody stability and perimeter foam reinforcement. Cold Press Cutting is commonly chosen for cost-efficient scalability and configuration flexibility when specifications are being iterated or volume programs are prioritized. OEM consistency & quality control Bond integrity and cutting accuracy determine long-run performance. WERiDON manages bonding control and CNC cutting tolerance to support repeatable production outcomes across bulk orders.
