Cold IPA Beer Making Kit

Brew a crisp, hop-forward beer at home with the Cold IPA Beer Making Kit from Craft a Brew. This hybrid style combines ale and lager brewing techniques to create a smooth, refreshing IPA with bright hop flavor and a clean, dry finish. Fermented cool, like a true lager (58–68°F, tolerant up to 72°F), this Cold IPA delivers bold hop aroma with the crispness of a lager, resulting in a beer that is typically ready to enjoy in about four weeks. This kit is designed for beginners and experienced brewers who want a complete brewing experience without sourcing separate components. It makes one gallon of beer, producing approximately ten to twelve bottles, and includes reusable fermentation equipment along with Cold IPA recipe ingredients for a streamlined, repeatable brewing process. The recipe is built to highlight a clean, modern IPA profile, featuring bright hop character balanced by a light malt body. By fermenting lager yeast cool (58–68°F, tolerant up to 72°F), this beer develops a smooth, neutral fermentation profile that enhances clarity and allows hop aroma to shine without heavy bitterness or haze. To use, follow the included step-by-step instructions to brew, ferment, and bottle your beer using the provided equipment. The brewing process is straightforward, guiding you from initial boil through fermentation and conditioning to achieve a crisp, aromatic IPA with consistent results. Produced to dependable quality standards, the Cold IPA Beer Making Kit offers a reliable way to brew a clean, smooth, and refreshing IPA with bright hop character and a dry finish, delivering a modern style that bridges the gap between a traditional IPA and a lager.
