The Extrema Ratio COL MOSCHIN has been well tested for many years. It was originally commissioned in 2002 and has received excellent reports throughout these years. Clean lines. Good balance. Excellent grip. Strong. The COL MOSCHIN has been battle tested and has served well. BLADE: The COL MOSCHIN has a classic survival blade profile. This blade was inspired by daggers and has an asymmetrical shape and a partially serrated blade. The blade is hand sharpened to a razor sharpness with the point being especially sharp. This is a big knife but it still fits and balances well in your hand. This COL MOSCHIN has the Testudo (black) finish – a coating that is very protective against corrosion and oxidation. This finish is also non-reflective. The COL MOSCHIN regimental crest is emblazed on the blade. HANDLE: The E.R.M.H.Forprene handle is designed to provide a good, firm grip and is removable for maintenance. The COL MOSCHIN has a substantial double guard to protect your hand. The tang extends beyond the handle end to form a generous lanyard hole. Indentations on both sides near the blade are deliberated placed for a thumb and forefinger hold for extra control. Rubber-like lightly textured handle ensures a positive grip even if you have wet hands SHEATH: The outer sheath is a Nylon soft sheath with a leg strap. The leg strap anchors the knife; giving it stability. A hinged flap folds over the end of the handle and can be dropped behind the sheath so that your knife is more exposed. Inside there is a hard sheath made of a Nylon composite with 15% Fiberglass. This is where your knife actually sits. The inner sheath has an automatic retention system to hold your COL MOSCHIN securely. For food purposes, it's recommended to use knives specially designed for the task.
