Coil Wrap Ring - Silver, India

This beautiful adjustable ring is handmade of a matte silver-plated metal and wraps twice around.  It is accented with flattened ends. Measures approximately .5" at widest point in center. Adjustable.  Silver-plated brass. Please note:  The model photo shows this ring in the gold version., ABOUT THE ARTISANS This piece of jewelry is handmade by low-income women in a fair trade cooperative in New Delhi which provides training and education as well as paying the women fair wages.  One of the longest running cooperatives in India, dating back to the 1970's, it not only provides employment, but actively campaigns against child labor, illiteracy, unfair trade practices, discrimination and AIDS.
