Coffee

In Coffee - Andrius Miezis conjures a surreal union of nature and awareness, placing a calm white owl beneath a golden, branching form that seems to sprout directly from its head. The bird’s wide, amber eyes mirror the earthy tones of the background, as if reflecting the warm, hypnotic state of a mind stirred by caffeine and contemplation. The branches, bulbous and organic, glow with a quiet alchemy, suspended between growth and thought. Miezis plays with contrast - the stillness of the owl against the restless, almost pulsating energy of the golden tree. It’s a vision of awakening, where instinct and intellect meet in harmonious tension. Coffee captures the essence of alertness and reflection - the in-between state where clarity deepens into wonder. It becomes a metaphor for consciousness itself, rooted in the physical yet forever reaching upward, branching toward unseen realms of perception and imagination.
