Código 1530 Ancestral Mezcal

Smooth and sustainable. Código 1530 Mezcal is the first mainstream expression of artisanal mezcal. At a time when Mexican ingredients are again inspiring our cuisine and culture, Código 1530 is returning to its roots with its single village family producers in San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico. The result is a smooth, flavorful and sustainable spirit that provides much needed income to the families who have honed their craft over generations. Crafted by a small group of the most skilled family mezcaleros in Mexico, Código 1530 is aged and distilled the same way it was hundreds of years ago to create a complex mezcal with a rich and smooth minerality. The first ever single-village production mezcal, Staying true to its roots, each bottle bears the name of the village where it was made, namely San Juan del Rio.
