Code Name Bass

WARNING - CA PROP 65 : The deps Code Name Bass is a lure that is designed for a dedicated swimbaiter! One that has the mental toughness and physical ability to be able to cast a 12.3 oz lure all day looking for that one bite. That single bite that allows you the opportunity to obtain your personal best and much more.  It’s not just a monster lure that is the perfect silhouette of a bass; it couples the design and performance of the proven Silent Killer and Slide Swimmer.  ■ Body & Form  Building from its predecessors, the Code Name Bass also features an ABS core body with a soft outer shell. This combination of materials has proven itself as a fish catching machine.  From the splash it makes when landing to the natural glide action it presents itself with, this lure is the complete package. The thickness of the body and the depth (height) of Code Name Bass were redesigned over years of prototypes to match with much precision of the real thing.  It measures 290 mm (11.6in) in length and weighs 12.3oz.  ■ Spring Weight Micro Vibration System.  There is a spring weight in the head that adds a subtle vibration and sound when jerked. ■ Trouble-free Bumper Fins Strategically placed and shaped, the bottom fins have multiple functions.  Besides adding to the realism of the bait, the fins aid in a more enjoyable fishing experience. These act as bumpers or guards preventing line trouble caused on the cast and landing of the lure. They also act to hinder weeds from getting caught on the hooks as the hooks are tucked away next to the body of the bait. ■ Hook & Assist Hook System At over 12 oz in weight, a hooked bass has a lot of leverage when hooked to help free itself during the fight. To aid with this matter, the Code Name Bass is equipped with a 360 swiveling hook system.  Furthermore, since a majority of strikes with monster baits come towards the front half of the lure this baits features an option to easily add an assist hook wiring system through the cheeks of the lure.  Code Name Bass Supplied contents: Body, feathered hooks # 3/0 x 2 pieces, split ring # 5 x 2 pieces, assist hook wire For more details on adding the assist hooks to the Code Name Bass’ visit the deps website.
