Candles (Coconut, Palm and Soy Wax)

Our natural wax candles are amazing!  They're amazing because they are wonderfully aromatic AND good for the environment! We all want to do our part to become healthier individuals, preserve our environment, and decrease our dependence on foreign oil. Simply choosing to purchase Soytopia coconut, palm & soy wax blend candles instead of paraffin candles helps to accomplish each of these goals. From a health standpoint, plant-based waxes produce 90% less soot than those made from paraffin. Did you know that the paraffin candles sold in most retail stores may release as many as 20 chemicals that the US Environmental Protection Agency recognizes as hazardous, cancer-causing, or toxic to our nervous and reproductive systems? Go green! Our natural wax candles are also non-toxic, biodegradable, and made from completely renewable natural resources! The soy beans from which the wax is made are grown and harvested by the American farmer. Our palm waxes are Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certified, helping to prevent deforestation of the world’s rain forests. The coconut wax is cold pressed from the coconut fruit, preserving the tree.  Most paraffin wax, on the other hand, is made from foreign oil left over from the production of gasoline and diesel fuel. Of course, you wouldn’t run a diesel engine in your home. Why burn a candle that emits the same toxins? Like all of our products, these candles are handmade.
