Cobia Pendant

The Cobia "Rachycentron canadum", are recognized for their prowess in sport fishing, hold a revered status among anglers due to their substantial size and strength. Anglers enthusiastically pursue these fish using a range of techniques, including trolling, sight casting, and live bait fishing, both from boats and occasionally from shore. These migrations and movements are closely followed by anglers, who anticipate the shifts in their habitats, aligning their fishing expeditions accordingly for better success rates. Live baitfish such as mullet, eels, and pinfish are often used to lure cobia, while artificial lures like bucktail jigs, swimbaits, and topwater plugs are effective for attracting them, particularly when sight casting. Cobia are frequently found near structures such as buoys, wrecks, and pilings, prompting anglers to concentrate their efforts around these areas, capitalizing on cobia seeking shelter and preying on smaller fish in these environments. With specific regulations and size limits established in various regions to preserve their populations, anglers are mindful of these rules to ensure sustainable cobia fishing, maintaining the thrill and viability of cobia as prized catches in the sport fishing world. The Cobia pendant is a part of the highly sought after Offshore Collection and is offered with assorted shackle bale sizes to accommodate a variety of necklaces.
