This classic van with a characteristic trailer allows you to move into the world of peaceful holidays, family trips and carefree adventures. The history of the camper and its trailer! The first camper model, based on the Transporter T1, appeared in the early 1950s. With a characteristic divided front window and rounded shapes, it quickly gained devoted users. The second generation of campers, the Volkswagen T2, were vehicles that made the brand even more famous. The T2 already had a uniform front window, a more powerful engine and a more spacious interior. Models from the late 60s and 70s gained huge popularity both in Europe and North America. In parallel with the development of Volkswagen campers, lightweight caravans also appeared, adapted specifically to be pulled by Transporter models. Companies such as Westfalia, Eriba and Dethleffs offered compact caravans, perfectly matched in style to Volkswagen campers. Their design was based on comfort and mobility - the caravans were lightweight, easy to tow and often folded to take up as little space as possible when parked. Models with a folding roof, mini-kitchen, bed and a set of camping furniture were popular. For families who wanted more space than the van itself offered, the caravan was a natural extension of their mobile home. At that time, Volkswagen campers could be found around the world, including Lake Constance. In the 1970s, Lake Constance was one of the most popular holiday destinations for Europeans looking for a relaxing holiday close to nature. Located on the border of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, it delighted tourists with picturesque views of the Alps, clean water and charming coastal towns. For camper owners, it was a real paradise - many camping sites right by the lake offered great conditions for camping, with access to beaches, bike paths and local attractions. You could freely stop in the shade of trees, enjoy the peace of nature and admire the sunsets over the water. The model of the camper heading to Lake Constance was created under the official license of Volkswagen, thanks to which it was faithfully reproduced in every detail - from the shape of the body to the colors inspired by the iconic campers from the 1970s. The whole is complemented by a stylish caravan, which perfectly matches the vehicle and creates a complete travel set ready for any adventure.
