A very large and impressive 15cm twinned Cobalto Calcite crystal. The crystal is transparent to highly translucent, a beautiful light pink-lavender color, and has numerous striated complex crystal faces. This crystal is twinned in the middle of the front face - the top has a complete and complex termination while the bottom is incomplete due to its intersection with the hosting matrix, as evidenced by the small attached dark brown/gray matrix on the contacted “bottom.” An unusually large and aesthetic crystal with impressive luster, color and crystal formation.
