Coastal Brew Dart - Bluff Rat

Elite Texas guide and tournament angler Wyatt Foster collaborated with Coastal Brew on the “Bluff Rat,” and the result is one of the most versatile inshore colors Sarge has seen hit the water in a long time. A dark smoky black back layered with subtle black, purple, and gold flash gives the bait just enough attitude, while the color-shifting pearl belly fades into an aggressive violet sheen depending on light conditions and viewing angle. It’s the kind of color that fishes far bigger than it looks on the rack. Dark enough for stained water. Natural enough for clean water. A year-round confidence bait that consistently produces when conditions get tough and fish get selective. The Coastal Brew Dart itself is built exactly how an inshore fluke-style bait should be. An elongated, ultra-responsive tail creates violent side-to-side hunting action with even the slightest twitch. Worked with a sharp “pop, pop, stop” cadence, the bait darts erratically through the water column like a wounded baitfish trying to escape. From speckled trout and redfish to snook and tarpon, predatory fish struggle to ignore the movement profile. Poured from a durable saltwater-grade plastic, the Dart is designed to withstand repeated abuse from aggressive fish without sacrificing action. Shallow back and belly hook channels allow for dependable weedless rigging while maintaining the structural integrity of the bait—no oversized hook slots that rip apart after a few fish. Available in 5-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch sizes, the Coastal Brew Dart lineup covers everything from finesse applications to oversized trophy-class presentations. And like every bait in the Coastal Brew lineup, each one is infused with the brand’s signature coffee scent—because when the bite gets difficult, details matter.
