Cloudspire: Harbinger

Cloudspire: Harbinger is a fantasy expansion for Cloudspire that adds a powerful new faction, additional scenario content, and fresh strategic possibilities to Chip Theory Games’ deep tactical battlefield system. Designed for solo, cooperative, and competitive play, Harbinger expands the game’s asymmetric powers, scenario-based challenges, and strategic decision space while giving experienced players even more ways to reshape the battlefield. Players love Cloudspire expansions because every new faction changes not only how you play—but how you think. A New Force Changes Everything Some factions ask you to learn a few new tricks. Harbinger asks you to rethink the battlefield. A strategy that felt reliable suddenly becomes vulnerable. Familiar matchups become puzzles again. That moment where you realize your opponent sees the board differently than you do—that’s where Cloudspire gets dangerous. This is an immersive fantasy expansion for hobby gamers and heavy strategy fans who enjoy tactical combat, asymmetric powers, scenario-based gameplay, and thinky strategic puzzles. Players who love mastering faction systems, discovering new interactions, and exploring difficult strategic decisions will immediately understand why Cloudspire keeps rewarding repeat play. If games like Mage Knight, Warcraft III, and Spirit Island create those “I need to think through this one more turn” moments, Harbinger fits naturally into that same space. How the Game Works Harbinger introduces a new faction with its own units, upgrade paths, structures, and strategic identity. Like other Cloudspire factions, it changes how movement, positioning, and battlefield control feel while opening entirely new approaches to solving scenarios and confronting opponents. Cloudspire thrives on long-term planning and tactical adaptation. Positioning a structure one space differently or deploying units at the wrong time can create consequences several turns later. Harbinger adds even more opportunities for those deeply satisfying strategic moments. The expansion integrates directly into solo, cooperative, and competitive modes while adding additional replayability through new scenarios and faction matchups.
