ABOUT MARINE LAYER Marine Layer was founded in San Francisco in 2009 with a single obsession: make a shirt that feels broken-in, comfortable, and absurdly soft from day one -- and do it responsibly. Since then they've grown from selling tees out of a bus to a B Corp-certified brand with over 100 custom-developed fabrics, 45+ brick-and-mortar locations, and a genuine commitment to keeping textiles out of landfills through their Re-Spun recycling program. Inspired by vintage clothing, music, and a laid-back lifestyle, Marine Layer makes casual wear for people who care about what they wear and how it was made.
