Hedge Hog Clip-On Ornament by Old World Christmas

Blown Glass Ornament Hand Painted Clip-on Design From our Glass Ornaments selection of Christmas Tree Ornaments, we bring you this piece from Merck Family's Old World Christmas ornaments. This 1½” x 3” Clip-On Hedge Hog is hand-crafted following the practices of the glassblowers of the 1800's. Molten glass is mouth-blown in crafted molds and then liquid hot silver is poured inside. From there, each ornament is painted and glittered by hand. Beth and Tim Merck founded Old World Christmas in Spokane, Washington out of their love for European Christmas traditions. Many people have become fans of Jan Bret, the author who writes Christmas tales involving wildlife creatures. Her main character is a hedge hog featured on every page of each story. This little guy with his branch clip will soon become your favorite character, too! Pass these Christmas Tree Ornaments on from generation to generation and start a heartwarming family tradition with these Glass Ornaments.
