The Cliffhanger is the strongest tubeless-ready mountain rim we build — a bombproof choice for enduro, bikepacking, and anyone who rides the kind of terrain that eats wheels for breakfast. Machined sidewalls make it compatible with both disc and rim brakes, and its wide tire range gives you plenty of room to pick the right tread for the job. If you want a rim you never have to think about, this is the one. Built with Velocity Standard hubs and Sapim Leader spokes. Each Velocity wheel includes our best "rim tape" solution standard. Velotape for tubeless models, Veloplugs for non-tubeless models. Hand-built to order by Velocity USA. Typical lead time: 3 weeks.
