Clif Bar - Individual

Clif Bar has been around so long, is so popular, and is still cranking out new and interesting flavors that it's almost hard to know what to write about them. It is rare to find the person who doesn't know the bar. Clif was one of the first, if not the first, exercise-specific energy food that was baked with real ingredients and tasted like real food.    That it's been around since 1992 doesn't mean that the product is old or stale. Clif seems to have improved and diversified with time. It's 70% organic, with no high-fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, no synthetic preservatives, no GMO ingredients, vegan-friendly, and Kosher Dairy (even though there's no dairy in any bar).    Each bar has 23 vitamins and minerals and zero trans fat. Depending on the flavor, a bar has 230-260 calories, 40-49g of carbohydrate, 115-240mg of sodium, 170-300mg of potassium, 8-11g of protein, and 4-5g of fiber.    Most importantly, it not only tastes like real food, but tastes good. With lots of varieties, including several seasonal offerings, there are always several Clif flavors that qualify as personal favorites. The bars are good for a snack, during exercise, and post exercise.    Clif Bar is great on-bike eating.
