Clematis Jolly Good

Bring height, drama and striking purple hues to your garden with Clematis Jolly Good. This late-flowering clematis produces masses of small-to-medium lavender-purple blooms with deep purple midribs and cheerful yellow stamens. Whether trained up a trellis, fence or pergola, it delivers vibrant vertical interest without demanding much in return. Perfect for Smaller Spaces With a 6–8' height at maturity, Jolly Good is ideal for modest gardens, containers or tight spaces that still need a punch of color. It fits beautifully into cottage gardens or more modern landscapes alike, adding dynamic movement as the vines gently sway in summer breezes. Late-Season Color Keeps Going This variety shines when many others fade. Blooming from midsummer through early fall, it fills your garden’s seasonal gap with fresh, jewel-toned color. It belongs to Clematis Group 3, meaning it flowers on new growth—so you’ll enjoy abundant blooms year after year with simple spring pruning. Easy Care, Big Rewards Jolly Good is a member of our Green Prune group, responding well to an early-season cutback. It's disease resistant and performs reliably in well-draining soil and full sun to part shade. Once established, it’s a breeze to maintain; just water during dry spells and enjoy the show.
