Umpqua Clear Wing Spinner Hex

The Umpqua Clear Wing Spinner Hex is an oversized, realistic dry fly that imitates the "spent" (dead) female Hexagenia mayfly, one of the largest mayflies in North America. This pattern features distinct, clear, splayed wings and a segmented body that perfectly matches the massive, vulnerable insect during the legendary Hex spinner fall. It is a critical fly for targeting trophy trout that lose their caution and gorge on these big meals late at night or early in the morning. Umpqua, Mayfly, Hexagenia
