Cleaning Scrub | Tea tree/ Peppermint

This Gentle Home Cleaning Scrub is a people- and planet-friendly cleaning powder made with non-toxic ingredients and eco-friendly packaging. This safe cleaner is just as effective as big name powder cleaners but is bleach-free, chlorine-free, dye-free, synthetic fragrance-free, and preservative-free. How to use: Start by wetting the surface you want to clean with warm water. Then sprinkle on a small amount of cleaning powder and scrub the surface using a wet rag, sponge, dish cloth, or brush. The baking soda in the powder acts as a mild abrasive that helps scrub away tough stains. Once the area is clean, rinse the surface with warm water to remove any remaining powder and wipe dry using a clean rag or cloth. This Gentle Home Cleaning Scrub works best on hard surfaces that are resistant to scratches and other abrasions, such as stainless steel appliances, stovetops, and porcelain and ceramic tiles. It is not safe for use on natural or sealed stone or non-stick cookware. We strongly recommend testing the cleaner on a hidden spot with treated or delicate surfaces such as stained wood, painted walls, and fabrics. The powder is 100% biodegradable and septic-safe, making it safe for use in tubs, sinks, and toilets. Ingredients:  Sodium Bicarbonate, also known as baking soda, is an odor neutralizer and a gentle abrasive that is effective at removing tough stains and dirt. Our vegan, plant-based Vegetable Soap is made from organic coconut oil that is processed into soap, resulting in the following ingredients: Sodium Cocoate is the chemical name of organic coconut oil that is saponified, or 'made into soap’. It's the chemical that grabs onto both dirt and water to do the cleaning. Glycerin is chemically a type of alcohol and is naturally created when the oil is converted into soap. Glycerin is known for skin-softening abilities and is an effective solvent, meaning it can dissolve substances such as stains and dirt. We do not add any additional glycerin to our soap. 100% of the glycerin present is a byproduct of the soapmaking process, vegan, and cruelty-free. Organic Cocos Nucifera, or organic coconut oil, is left in the soap after conversion to sodium cocoate. This is because we use sodium hydroxide, or lye, in the conversion process, and leaving excess oil ensures there is no remaining lye in the finished product. Our coconut soap has only a very small amount of excess oil, so it is designed to get tough jobs done without leaving oil behind. Water is used in the soapmaking process to dissolve the lye and help evenly mix the oils and lye together for a complete saponification reaction. After saponification is complete, the water evaporates. There is only about 5% water in the finished soap, making it more shelf stable than a liquid soap that would require a preservative due to the high percentage (about 60%) of water. Organic Mentha Piperita Leaf Oil, or organic peppermint essential oil, is a scented oil derived from peppermint leaves. It is a natural, plant-based alternative to synthetic fragrance blends and adds a festive, invigorating scent to our cleaning powder. Organic Melaleuca Alternifolia Oil, or organic tea tree essential oil, is a scented oil derived from tea tree leaves. It is a natural, plant-based alternative to synthetic fragrance blends and adds a medicinal, woody scent to our cleaning powder.
