CLAY MITT

Run your hand across a freshly washed car and feel that rough, gritty texture? That's embedded contamination — rail dust, industrial fallout, paint overspray, and road grime that a regular wash can't remove. The Jax Wax Clay Mitt pulls all of it out, leaving your paint silky smooth and ready for polish, wax, or ceramic coating. We love the Clay Mitt over traditional clay bars because it's faster, easier to use, and far more durable. Slip it on like a wash mitt, spray on your detail spray as a lubricant, and glide it across the surface. You'll feel the contamination releasing almost immediately. And unlike a clay bar that gets tossed if you drop it, the Clay Mitt rinses clean with water and can be used over 25 times. Why the Clay Mitt Wins Medium-grade decontamination — effectively removes rail dust, paint overspray, water spots, and embedded road grime Works on paint, wheels, and glass — one tool for the whole vehicle Reusable 25+ times — rinses clean with water, far more economical than traditional clay bars Mitt design — faster and easier to use than clay bars, covers more surface area per pass Use with detail spray or waterless wash — works with any lubricant you already have on hand How to Use Wash the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose dirt before claying Spray a generous amount of detail spray or waterless wash onto a small section as lubricant Glide the Clay Mitt over the lubricated area using back and forth motions — let the mitt do the work, no heavy pressure needed Wipe the area with a clean microfiber towel to remove residue Repeat section by section across the entire vehicle Rinse the mitt with water between sections to keep it clean Follow up with polish, wax, or ceramic coating for best results Pro tip: After claying, run the back of your hand across the paint. If it feels as smooth as glass, you're ready for the next step. If it still feels rough, go over it again.
