Clay Magic Detailing Clay Bar

Clay Magic® Detailing Clay Bar Choose Your Level of Decontamination Bring back a smooth-as-glass finish with Clay Magic® Detailing Clay Bars. Designed to safely remove bonded surface contamination that washing alone cannot remove, Clay Magic helps prepare paint for polishing, waxing, sealants, ceramic coatings, or simply a cleaner, smoother finish. Whether you need a gentle maintenance clay for regular detailing or a more aggressive clay for heavy contamination, choose the grade that matches the job. Why Use a Clay Bar? Over time, contaminants bond to your vehicle’s surfaces and leave paint feeling rough. Clay Magic® removes stubborn contamination including: Paint overspray Industrial fallout Tree sap Bug residue Tar and road grime Bird droppings Embedded dirt and contamination The result is smoother paint, improved gloss, and better performance from waxes, sealants, and coatings. Available Variants Blue Fine Grade Clay Perfect for regular maintenance and lightly contaminated vehicles. The Blue Fine Grade Clay safely removes bonded contaminants while remaining gentle on paint and clear coat surfaces. Ideal for enthusiasts and professionals performing routine decontamination before waxing or polishing. Best For: Light contamination Maintenance detailing Well-maintained vehicles Preparing paint for wax or sealant Sensitive or softer paint systems Red Medium Grade Clay For heavier contamination and more demanding correction work. The Red Medium Grade Clay is more aggressive than the blue fine-grade version and is designed for vehicles with heavier contamination such as overspray, industrial fallout, stubborn tar, and embedded debris. Commonly used in professional detailing and body shop environments. Best For: Heavy contamination Paint overspray removal Industrial fallout Body shop applications More neglected surfaces Note: Due to the more aggressive nature of the medium-grade clay, light polishing may be recommended afterward on some paint finishes. Safe On Paint Clear coat Glass Chrome Fiberglass Plastic How To Use Thoroughly wash and rinse the vehicle. Spray a clay lubricant onto a small section, approximately 3' x 3'. Form the clay into a flat oval shape. Gently glide the clay bar across the lubricated surface using light back-and-forth motions. Once the surface feels smooth, wipe dry with a clean microfiber towel. Continue section by section around the vehicle. Pro Tip: Always use plenty of lubrication and discard the clay bar if dropped on the ground to avoid scratching surfaces. Storage & Care To clean the clay bar, simply fold and reshape it to expose a clean surface. Store the clay in its resealable bag with a light spray of clay lubricant to help maintain pliability.
